Salut ? tous,
1. Remove strut as one piece. Compress your springs with a spring compressor (if needed) and remove the top nut. Disassemble the entire strut and discard everything except for the strut and the strut mount. Do not reinstall the front top spring perch, because it will not allow you to go much lower than stock.
2. You will notice that the coilover adjustment sleeve will not slide onto the strut. You must grind the top of the strut until the coilover adjustment sleeve slides on. Make sure not to take away to much metal as you want the sleeve to fit snug around the strut. You may also have to carefully grind the weld just a bit.
3. Once the sleeve slides onto the strut adjust the rings until they touch the spring perch. Take a paint marker and mark around the ring on the spring perch. Remove the sleeve from the strut. Grind or cut the spring perch until you are within an 1/8 of an inch of your marks.
4. Take a hammer and hit the spring perch until it is close to flat so that if you decide to lower the car all of the way the ring will sit flat on the perch. Grind and beat until the ring sits flat on all edges that its touching.
5. Slide the sleeve back on the strut and grind on the perch until the perch is the same diameter as the ring. Also make sure that the sleeve with the rings in the middle position is sitting even on all 3 welds. You may have to grind the welds a little.
6. Install one of the thinner o-rings over the strut and push it tightly onto the perch. Slide the sleeve on the strut again, with the rings in about the middle position, the sleeve should be installed with the 3 threaded holes towards the top. Take the allen set screws and tighten them in the 3 holes provided in the sleeve being sure that You tighten them as equally as possible.
7. Slide the rubber rings provided onto the upper adjustment ring. Put the spring on the strut. Put the second rubber ring onto the top hat and install it onto the spring. Reinstall the strut mount onto the strut. Tighten the rings together using the provided spanner wrenches.
8. Reinstall the struts. After all struts are reinstalled adjust the coilovers until the car sits like You want and retighten the rings. Double check everything before You drive the car. You can expect an inch and a half drop on the rear. The front expect up to 2. You can grind off part of the rear strut mount and gain another half of an inch drop if You want to go lower.
Merci d'avance pour votre aide
